ProTouch Medical is seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician for ongoing coverage in Steuben County, located west of Ithaca and south of Rochester, New York.

Position Details

• Location: Steuben County, NY
• Job Type: Locum / Contract
• Schedule / Start Date: Ongoing, as soon as the right candidate is sourced and credentialed
• Shifts: 12 or 24 hours

Practice Details

• Urgent coverage need
• Flexible shift options include 12-hour or 24-hour shifts
• No fast-track area in the emergency department
• Current documentation system: EPIC (expected March 2025)
• Staff respond to house codes; hospitalist coverage may be required based on operational needs

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
• Active NY medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
