Position Details

NORTHERN NEW YORK STATE

Fantastic opportunity for B/C, B/E Emergency Medicine Physicians! This hospital-employed position is with a not-for-profit community healthcare facility certified for 94 beds. It is part of the St Lawrence healthcare system of Northern NY and the Rochester Healthcare system.

Physicians in this role work no less than 144 hours per month, rotating between 3 hospitals in the area, all within 35 minutes of the main emergency department. There is APP support on every shift and always a second physician!

Visa physicians are encouraged to respond, including J1, H1B, and other visa types for 2025 & 2026.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting at $30,000 per hour plus a $50,000 sign-on bonus, $15,000 relocation allowance, and $4,800/year loan repayment. Benefits and malpractice insurance are included.

Location & Community

The city in Northern New York has a population of 30,000 residents and is a cultural and educational hub, home to Clarkson University, SUNY Potsdam, and St. Lawrence University. It offers four seasons of outdoor activities amid the Adirondack Mountains. Nearby airports are in Massena and Ogdensburg, NY, with access to Montreal and Ottawa, Canada, and Syracuse, NY.
