Job description

Practice Details:

• 32-room department recently renovated and optimized
• All day and evening shifts; no overnights
• Full-time is 10-hour shifts per month
• Department has 50 hours of physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day
• Adult and pediatric hospitalists handle their own admissions
• Not a trauma facility; no heads, no open hearts

Compensation and Benefits:

• $450,000 base salary
• $75,000 sign-on bonus
• $60,000 total retention bonus (paid $20,000 at the end of years 1, 2 & 3)
• $6,000 CME annually

Three retirement plans including a unique supplemental plan. Health, vision, dental, life, and disability coverage. Paid malpractice with tail coverage.

Located between two communities of about 20,000 people each, these family-friendly areas offer outdoor activities and sports, providing a small-town feel with all necessary amenities, including a university. Less than 1 hour to the University of Illinois, 2 hours to St. Louis and Indianapolis.
