Job summary

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview in Longview, Texas, is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join our busy ED. The 425-bed, Level III Trauma Center uses EPIC EMR and features 40 ED beds with physicians covering 45 hours per week.

The role offers a full-time position within CHRISTUS Health System’s East Texas network, emphasizing high-quality care, trauma resuscitation, and collaborative teamwork in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine required.
• Experience in a Level I–III trauma setting preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills and teamwork in a high-volume ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients.
• Lead trauma resuscitation and acute care teams as needed.
• Collaborate with ED staff to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
