Qualifications

Coverage Needed:

• Start Month: June
• Estimated Length of Assignment: 12 months
• Providers Needed: 2 Full-Time MDs (20 shifts/month)
• Minimum Shifts Acceptable: 7/month
• Physician Shift Times: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

Clinical Details:

• Staffing Model: 24-hour single MD coverage with 10 hours NPPA support depending on the day of the week
• Call Requirement: No
• Annual Volume: 17,904
• Patients Per Day: 49
• Trauma Level Designation: Level II
• EMR System: Ochsner EPIC
• Support Staff: Cardiology, Orthopedics, IM, Radiology, FP, Pathology, Surgery, Urology, ICU, CCU, SICU

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM/IM/FM with ACLS, ATLS, PALS
• Residency Trained in EM, IM, or FP with Emergency Medicine experience
• Active State License Required
• Flu or Other Immunizations Required (Waiver Considered)
• Expedited Locum Privileges Available with Active LA License & Clean File
