Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The provider will cover a Level III trauma ED with an approximate daily volume of 137 patients and collaborate with ENT, Orthopedics, and GYN teams.

Candidate must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine with ABEM/AOBEM or ABMS-recognized specialty, possess an IN license, IN DEA/CDS, and BLS certification. CME logs and case histories are expected for credentialing and ongoing activity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active IN Medical License, IN State Controlled Substance, DEA with IN address DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required
• Certifications: BLS
• Experience: EM residency graduate within 12 months or IM with 5+ years continuous full-time experience in high-volume ED
• Other Qualifications: CME attestation, case logs for past 2 years

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in a Level III Trauma Center with 33-bed ED.
• Manage approximately 137 patients per day with support from NPs/PAs and scribes.
• Perform moderate sedation procedures as required.

• Maintain compliance with state licensing, board certification, and hospital credentialing requirements.
