Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The provider will cover a Level III trauma ED with an approximate daily volume of 137 patients and collaborate with ENT, Orthopedics, and GYN teams.

Candidate must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine with ABEM/AOBEM or ABMS-recognized specialty, possess an IN license, IN DEA/CDS, and BLS certification. CME logs and case histories are expected for credentialing and ongoing activity.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or BE in Emergency Medicine with ABEM/ABMS recognition.
• Active IN medical license, IN DEA/CDS, with IN address.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a Level III trauma ED.
• Manage about 137 patients per day with NPs/PAs and scribes.
• Perform moderate sedation procedures when required.
• Collaborate with ENT, Orthopedics, GYN for patient care.
• Maintain licensing, board certification, and credentialing compliance.
