Job summary

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital-Kleberg in Kingsville, TX seeks an MD/DO with BC/BE in Emergency Medicine to join a busy Level IV trauma ED. The department features 24-hour physician coverage and 10-hour NP/PA coverage, with Epic as the EMR.

Board certification or eligibility in EM is required; IM/FM experience is acceptable. The hospital is part of CHRISTUS Spohn Health System and serves a regional population with growing emergency services and comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in IM or FM acceptable.
• ACLS, ATLS and PALS required or standard.
• EM residency training accepted in lieu of ATLS requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in a Level IV trauma ED.
• Support 10-hour NP/PA coverage.
• Operate within a hospital with Epic EMR for patient care documentation.
