What you will need:

• License: Illinois Medical License or pending
• DEA/Controlled Substance License: or pending
• Certification: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Sponsorship: No J1 VISA sponsorship available

A Brief Overview:

The purpose of the Physician FPA is to provide medical direction for the Hospice patient care program according to Hospice policy and procedure. This position reports to the Vice President, Home Services. It involves approximately 55% Health Information Technology, 25% Accountable Care Organization, and 20% Medical Group practicing physician.

The NorthShore Division of Emergency Medicine is committed to excellent patient care, bedside clinical teaching for various learners, advancing care through research, and providing community education and service.

• Level I & II Trauma Centers
• Community-based healthcare
• Cardiac Catheter Lab for emergent cardiac intervention
• Residency training sites for the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Cook County Emergency Medicine Residency Program, and NorthShore University HealthSystem
• Internal Medicine, Transitional, and Preliminary Residency Programs
• Patient rooms available in select ERs, including 4 Fast Track settings for minor injuries
• Ultrasound Program Simulation Fellowship
