Join Our Emergency Medicine Team in Bay City, MI!

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to cover from February 2025 to May 2025. This is an onsite position with no call responsibilities. Our facility offers a supportive environment with full emergency department support, including nursing and tech assistance, as well as complete radiology and lab services. Our current Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in place is Cerner. Join us in a vibrant community where you can make a significant impact in patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients.
• Manage up to 80 patients per day with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Perform a variety of emergency procedures, including suturing, central line placement, and airway management.
• Collaborate with APPs and nursing staff to ensure effective and timely care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the EHR system.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (No Board Eligible candidates).
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Local provider required for quick credentialing.
• Clean background verification for rapid credentialing.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan Medical License (no exceptions).
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Completion of necessary employee health screenings, including Covid, Tuberculosis, and vaccination documentation.
