An established industry player is seeking qualified emergency medicine providers to join their team in a new state-of-the-art Emergency Department. This facility, set to open in late 2024-25, will feature 75 exam rooms and a 24-hour Cath Lab. Candidates must possess IMLC licenses and be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, having completed an EM residency. With a high annual volume of approximately 65,000 visits, this role offers a dynamic work environment with no on-call requirements. Providers must have IMLC licenses. A Letter of Qualification (LQ) and a timeline for obtaining the license are required at the time of application. Without the LQ submission, providers will be redirected.
The new Emergency Department (ED) will feature 75 exam rooms, with construction underway and opening planned for late 2024-25.
The facility includes a 24-hour Cath Lab and an additional 10-bed overflow unit.
Scribes will work alongside physicians to assist with documentation.
There is no on-call requirement for this position.
Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine and have completed an EM residency.
Temporary privileges are granted prior to the credentials meeting, typically for 120 days or until full Board approval, whichever comes first. The process is streamlined, with no separate application or fee.
Temporary privileges may be granted by the CEO based on recommendations, especially in urgent patient care situations or for locum tenens. Licensure and competence are verified beforehand.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system is Epic.
Annual ED volume is approximately 65,000 visits.
All specialty backup services are available except Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery.
The candidate must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends. The site is adding an additional shift and is currently short one nocturnist.
