Job summary

HealthPartners is hiring a Pharmacist to join our team. The role involves verifying orders, dispensing medications, and monitoring patient therapies to ensure safe and effective care. You will oversee direct support staff and contribute to the clinical team in Minnesota.

The position requires a BS Pharmacy or PharmD, Minnesota licensure, and prior inpatient/outpatient experience, with the flexibility to handle emergencies and maintain high productivity standards.

Qualifications

• All: Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Central Inpatient: Previous experience in a central inpatient capacity (or comparable role)
• Outpatient: Previous experience in an outpatient/retail capacity
• Medication History: Previous experience in an outpatient/retail or medication history capacity
• Decentralized/Clinical: Completion of a Post-Doctorate Pharmacy Program (residency/fellowship) or BPS Certification
• Clinical Specialist: 3+ years of specialty experience or ASHP PGY2 residency or BPS Certification
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and dispense medications and supplies.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information to healthcare providers.
• Oversee work of direct support personnel and coordinate workflow in the assigned area.
• Work independently and meet departmental productivity standards.
• Ability to direct the work of others and respond quickly to emergencies.
