Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to ensure accurate dispensing and safe medication use for inpatients and outpatients. The role includes reviewing orders, patient counseling, and using an efficient order-verification process.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• Current licensure in Minnesota is required.
• Ability to work seven 10-hour overnight shifts per pay period.
• Strong organizational, teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, review, and prioritize physician orders for inpatients or outpatients.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects for outpatients.
• Ensure safe and appropriate use of medications and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize one piece flow approach during order verification to minimize errors.
