Job summary

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Plymouth, MA is seeking a high-energy Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. You will provide direct patient care for ED patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, supporting the main ED operations and patient flow.

We handle about 46,000 annual ED visits, with Fast Track and BHU, in a 170-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Massachusetts state licensure in good standing required.
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA required.
• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center preferred.
• Competency in care of patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under physician supervision.
• Support the main ED operations and patient management.
• Manage Fast Track and Behavioral Health Unit patients.
