Job summary

HealthPartners in St. Paul, MN seeks a patient-focused Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. The role provides direct ED care, including evaluation, diagnosis, diagnostic orders, procedures, and treatment planning in collaboration with the ED physicians.

The position is 0.8 FTE with a blend of day, swing, and night shifts. Minnesota licensure is required with ability to obtain Wisconsin licensure on hire and NCCPA certified, ACLS/BLS/ATLS.

Qualifications

• ARC-PA accredited PA program completion.
• NCCPA certification.
• Minnesota license; Wisconsin licensure upon hire.
• ACLS/BLS/ATLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including evaluation, diagnosis, orders and interpretation of diagnostic studies, and performance of procedures within scope.
• Develop treatment plans and collaborate with Emergency Medicine physicians and the healthcare team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
