Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a civilian Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. The role focuses on non-trauma, non-pediatric emergency care with common presentations like chest pain and COPD exacerbations.

The position emphasizes flexible schedules, excellent hourly pay, and a supportive environment with integrated EMR and modern equipment. Prior ER experience and current NP certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted NP license in any state.
• Graduate of an accredited NP program.
• NP certification.
• Experience working in an Emergency Room setting.
• 12 months with an annual volume of 20k+.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergency medicine care in the ER for Hampton VAMC (no trauma or pediatrics).
• Deliver timely assessment, diagnosis and disposition of acute patients.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and integrated EMR system to support patient care.

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia. As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Hampton VAMC you will not handle Trauma or Peds. The most common diagnosis are chest pains, Gastroenteritis, and COPD Exacerbations. If you are looking for a slower paced, less aggressive ER environment, then Hampton VA is your best bet!
