NPHire is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their team at Hampton VAMC in Virginia. Qualifications

• Must have a nurse practitioner certification and an unrestricted state license.
• 12 months of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an Emergency Medicine setting at Hampton VAMC focused on common acute diagnoses.
• Work with a compliant patient population and in a supportive environment.
• Manage a variety of shifts including weekends.

Position Requirements

Job Details

As an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Hampton VAMC you will not handle Trauma or Pediatrics. The most common diagnoses are chest pains, gastrointestinal illness, and COPD exacerbations. If you are looking for a slower paced, less aggressive ER environment, then Hampton VA is your best bet!
