Job summary

Hartford HealthCare, including Hartford Hospital, is seeking Advanced Practitioners to support Emergency Medicine in a busy Level 1 trauma center. Opportunity to work per diem, alongside residents and attendings, providing urgent assessment and treatment across triage levels.

Applicants should have FNP/PA training, current CT license, and DEA certification. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and continuous professional growth within a leading Connecticut healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Exceptional physical assessment skills required.
• 1 year experience evaluating and treating health disruptions and trauma.
• Suturing, minor surgical skills, splinting/casting, gyn exam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Emergency Medicine/ER within a Level 1 trauma center.
• Collaborate with residents and attendings in acute care.
• Provide patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Maintain high-quality patient care under dynamic conditions.
