Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive emergency care in a critical access facility in Arkansas. The role requires independent practice under board-certified physician supervision, with a focus on timely assessment, diagnostics, and evidence-based treatment for all ages.

Ideal candidates bring a broad EM skill set, strong clinical judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active, unrestricted state license.
• NP: AANP or ANCC board certification required; PA: NCCPA certification required.
• Active DEA registration with state address.
• Meet all state prescriptive authority and DEA/CDS requirements.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required.
• Minimum of two years emergency medicine experience.
• Submission of emergency medicine case logs for two years.
• Documentation of two years of CME/CEU.
• Immunization compliance (COVID-19, TB, flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap).
• Current resume, valid driver’s license, and color photograph required.
• Completion of full credentialing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and triage in the emergency department.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, suturing, splinting, and resuscitation.
• Document clinical findings, procedures, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and facility protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
