Job summary

Wake Forest Emergency Medicine, part of Advocate Health, is seeking full-time physicians to join a premier level I trauma center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role emphasizes high-volume, high-acuity care with robust onboarding and dedicated APP support.

Shifts include day and evening 8–hr or 12–hr blocks; no overnights currently, with a 35-hour workweek and 152 hours per month minimum. Compensation ranges from $59.00 to $88.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, retirement match,

Qualifications

• Must have NC PA/NP license (NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible).
• BLS, ACLS before starting. Must obtain ATLS after starting eventually.

Responsibilities

• Provide true Emergency Medicine care with APPs integrated in care teams.
• Training: onboarding program with 1x1 pairing for first 3 months.
• Schedule includes day and evening shifts, 8- and 12-hour blocks; no overnights currently.
• Minimum 152 hours per month (35 hours per week) and 4 weekend days per month.
