Job summary

Advocate Health—Wake Forest Emergency Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC—is recruiting for a Full-time Emergency Medicine APP. The department supports an 885-bed teaching hospital, with a mission-driven team delivering high-volume, high-acuity care and an integrated APP group.

New graduates are welcome and will onboard with a paired 1x1 mentor for the first 3 months. Expect 35 hours/week, day and evening shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have NC PA/NP license (NPs must be ENP boarded or eligible), BLS, ACLS before starting.
• Must obtain ATLS after starting eventually.
• Training: New graduates are welcome and supported with a robust onboarding program. Paired 1x1 with an experienced APP for the first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• "True Emergency Medicine" – Classic and cutting edge EM work with APPs fully integrated in the care teams.
• Training program with paired onboarding for the first 3 months.
• Schedule: 8- and 12-hour shifts, no overnights currently, 35 hours per week, 4 weekend days per month.
