Job summary

BAS HealthCare seeks a Nurse Practitioner specialized in Emergency Medicine to join a community hospital in Portage, WI. The role requires ensuring safe, rapid assessment and management of acute patients in a Level 4 Trauma Center.

The clinician will work in a high-volume ED, perform comprehensive evaluations, and participate in credentialing processes for ongoing coverage. Locum Tenens engagement emphasizes flexible, ongoing service delivery.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services with approximately 25 patient encounters per shift.
• Must hold an active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC licensure.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine with credentialing timeframe of approx. 30 days.
• Must maintain ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services with approx. 25 patient encounters per shift.
• Maintain credentialing and participate in continuous quality improvement in a Level 4 Trauma Center.
