Job summary

Global Medical Staffing seeks a locums Emergency Medicine physician for a Wisconsin facility in Portage. This travel assignment features day shifts from 7:00 to 19:30 and night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, totaling 12.5-hour blocks, with 40–60 ED/UC patients per day in an ED/UC setting.

Ongoing coverage needs with ACLS and ATLS required; newborn deliveries not received in ED; L&D available. Benefits include prepaid travel and housing, paid malpractice, licensing assistance, and NALTO membership.

Qualifications

• ACLS and ATLS certified for ED coverage.
• Experience in emergency medicine patient flow and triage.

Responsibilities

• Manage 40–60 patients per shift and handle day/night rotations.
• Coordinate care for acute presentations during travel assignment.
