Job summary

AOIA in Minnesota is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join a collegial ED team that includes 6 physicians and 3 PAs.

This independent, community-focused center features a Level IV trauma center, stroke-ready ED with 9 rooms, and 24/7 radiology, stroke, and psychiatric services.

The position offers a strong work-life balance with block scheduling options, 35 days of paid PTO, a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME support, and competitive retirement contributions.

This is a small ED with impressive technology! Locums providers request shifts here because of the unique balance of high acuity and low volumes!

• Level IV trauma center
• Stroke-ready ED with 9 patient rooms, 2 trauma bays & 24/7 rad/stroke/and psy services
• 12 hours of PA coverage daily and a balance of busy vs. light volumes reduces burnout
• The ED team help each other out when personal life events happen.
• FT, PT, & Block scheduling options
• 35 days paid PTO
• Premium for night and extra shifts
• 3 extra shifts/month = annual compensation > 90% of all ED physicians
