Job summary

Jackson Physician Search is helping a Minnesota-based independent organization fill an Emergency Department physician role in a small yet advanced ED. The department features Level IV trauma care, 9 beds, 2 trauma bays and around-the-clock radiology, stroke, and psychiatry support.

You will join a collegial team of 6 physicians and 3 PAs, with scheduling options including FT, PT and blocks. Highlights include 35 days PTO, night/extra shift premiums, a 45,000 sign-on bonus plus 15,000 relocation,

Qualifications

• Level IV trauma center
• Stroke-ready ED with 9 patient rooms, 2 trauma bays & 24/7 rad/stroke/and psy services
• 12 hours of PA coverage daily
• 35 days paid PTO
• Premium for night and extra shifts
• 3 extra shifts/month = annual compensation > 90% of all ED physicians
• 45k sign on bonus; 15k relocation
• Resident stipend
• 9% employer contribution to your 401k!
• 7500 CME
• PSLF eligible and HPSA facility

Responsibilities

• Join an extremely collegial ED team of 6 physicians and 3 PAs
• Provide care in a Level IV trauma center with a high-acuity, low-volume balance
• Support a 24/7 radiology, stroke, and psychiatry workflow
• Offer FT, PT, and block scheduling options
• Affirm PTO requests and promote staff well-being
