Job summary

TeamHealth at St. David's Medical Center in Austin seeks an experienced emergency medicine physician to step into a leadership role, blending clinical practice with administration in a high-volume ED.

You will partner with the facility medical director, mentor physicians and APCs, champion quality initiatives, and help develop the hospital's inaugural EM residency program while enjoying TeamHealth leadership resources.

Qualifications

• ABEM board-certified emergency physician.
• Minimum two years post-residency EM experience preferred.
• Texas medical licensure eligible and active clinical practice in last 12 months.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required (ATLS accepted if expired).

Responsibilities

• Assist facility medical director with ED operations and performance.
• Mentor physicians and APCs; foster patient-centered culture.
• Lead quality initiatives and clinician engagement programs.
• Support development of the inaugural EM residency program.
