Job summary

Washington University in Saint Louis is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II for the Emergency Medicine department. The role involves coordinating complex clinical studies, liaising with sponsors, investigators, and participants, and ensuring protocol compliance across all study phases.

You will manage data collection, assist with manuscript preparation and grant proposals, and handle forms and manuals for study procedures while staying current with evolving literature.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Clinical Research experience (2 Years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing plans for research projects and discusses interpretation of results; collaborates in manuscript preparation and grant proposals.
• Coordinates development of forms, questionnaires and data collection methods; assists in writing manuals for study progress and data coding.
• Implements and manages all phases of study/protocol; ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements; maintains records and assesses participant progress.
• Evaluates and interprets collected clinical data; prepares reports and presentations; provides progress recommendations.
