Job summary

Penn State Health – Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Coordinator Clinical Research I in Emergency Medicine to plan, direct, or coordinate clinical research projects. The role will direct staff and ensure adherence to protocols and objectives.

The Research RN will monitor activities, evaluate data, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal policies. This position supports advancing patient care and research within a renowned academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years effective experience required.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, or coordinate clinical research projects.
• Direct activities of workers engaged in clinical research projects to ensure compliance with protocols and clinical objectives.
• Evaluate and analyze clinical data as required.
• Monitor study activities to ensure compliance with protocols and all relevant local, federal and state regulatory and institutional policies.
