Emory Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine for 7 on/7 off, 10-hour shifts (70 hours per pay period). The role covers the ED at Emory Decatur Hospital from 05:30 to 15:30, contributing to patient-centered pharmaceutical care and system-wide clinical practice improvements.

The position requires a PharmD, PGY1/PGY2 residency, Georgia licensure eligibility, and ACS/BLS ACLS as applicable, with opportunities for mentorship and leadership development within a

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 residency or fellowship or equivalent.
• Pharmacy specialty board certification preferred.
• Georgia licensure eligibility prior to start date.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• ACLS required within 6 months if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Practice as a clinical expert in specialty area.
• Develop and promote advanced clinical practice based on evidence.
• Collaborate under existing or new CPAs to enhance pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure institution-wide appropriate therapy and outcomes in specialty area.
• Provide patient-centered, interdisciplinary pharmaceutical care.
• Review orders daily and document clinical interventions.
• Lead development of system nomograms and guidelines.
• Participate in transitions of care and education of staff and students.
