Job summary

Catholic Health is seeking a Pharmacist to lead and integrate a comprehensive Clinical Pharmacy Services Program across Emergency Department, Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Oncology, and other areas. The role focuses on direct patient care, education for staff and patients, and program leadership.

The incumbent will precept residents, collaborate with system and site leadership, and ensure ongoing regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) with PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in an acute care or ambulatory care setting required; PGY2 in area of specialization preferred.
• Board Certification preferred, and required within one year of hire.
• Residency requirements include ASHP accreditation or candidate status.
• Evidence of residency completion must be available prior to start date.
• Licensure: NY State Pharmacist license required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive Clinical Pharmacy Services Program across ED, ICU, ID, and other areas.
• Provide educational programs for nurses, pharmacists, residents, physicians, and patients and their families.
• Precept pharmacy residents across the system.
• Assist system and site leadership in regulatory readiness and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Coordinate activities within the specialty areas of Clinical Pharmacy Services.
