WVU Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in the Emergency Department to support Bluefield Regional Medical Center and Princeton Community Hospital. Qualified applicants must have a PA or NP degree with EM experience preferred and WV licensure eligibility.

The role focuses on comprehensive emergency medicine care, collaboration with the medical team, and adherence to professional standards in a busy ED setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers**
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an APRN in West Virginia.
• AHA BLS, ACLS and ATLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency department.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.
• Perform assessments, orders, and diagnostic tests per scope of practice.
• Discharge planning and follow-up coordination.
