Job summary

SMG System Medical Group in Keyser, West Virginia, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to practice in the Emergency Medicine department at Potomac Valley Hospital. The successful candidate will join a large team of professionals, providing emergency medicine and outpatient care with emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as an RN and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• CNOR Certification required.
• BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training at department discretion.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Emergency Medicine and urgent care settings.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical care in an emergency medicine capacity.
• Establish preventive health practices for patients and promote evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
