Job summary

Kettering Health Transportation Services in Kettering, OH is hiring a Full Time Transport Driver with varied shifts. You will assist with patient transport, ensure timely pickups, and safely deliver patients to destinations, while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license (no more than four points; insurer approval required). First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than four points.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality while transporting patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the basic needs of the patient is met during transport.
• Arrives on time at patient pick-up locations.
• Ensures that patients are left at the appropriate destination.
• Completes patient care and billing reports.
• Ability to properly use wheelchair lift in ambulette vehicle and safely secure all patients.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.
• Performs regular assigned shift duties.
• Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.
• Completes detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management.
• Drives company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies.
