Job summary
Hereford Regional Medical Center in Hereford, TX seeks an EMT-Basic to respond to emergencies, provide prehospital care, and transport patients in accordance with HRMC guidelines. You will operate emergency vehicles legally, follow EMS Director directions, and contribute to ongoing quality improvements and patient satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site position supporting community health initiatives.
Qualifications
Must hold EMT-Basic certification with Texas DSHS.
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification.
Valid Texas Class C driver license with restriction "A".
NIMS IS-100/IS-200/IS-700/IS-800.A courses completed within 80 days of employment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
BTLS certification preferred.
Field experience and National Registry preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with HRMC policies and department guidelines.
Safely operate emergency vehicles in compliance with all laws and HRMC policies.
Accept other tasks as assigned by the EMS Director.
Contribute to a culture focused on continuous improvement of patient and employee satisfaction.
