Columbus Regional Health in Columbus, IN is seeking a part-time Ambulance EMT to join our City of Columbus ambulance operations. This 12-hour-per-week role offers on-site work with day and night shifts, and eligibility for shift premiums.

You will work in a fast-paced EMS environment, with opportunities to contribute to 911 and non-emergent services. Indiana EMT or National Registry credentials with BLS are required, plus ability to obtain unrestricted state certification.

With state-of-the-art equipment, our 12 ambulances provide 911 Emergency Medical Services, BLS Non-Emergent Ambulance Services, and Special Event Coverage to Bartholomew, and surrounding counties.

Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

This position is eligible for applicable shift differentials and Sunday/holiday premiums.

With at least 16 hours per week, employees are benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:

With 30 days of hire:

• Indiana State EMT or Advanced EMT certification or National Registry EMT or Advanced EMT Certification with the ability to obtain an unrestricted state certification.
• Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Must be able to obtain CRH auto insurance coverage, which requires a clean driving record and to be at least 18 years of age.
• This position will require frequent standing, walking talking and listening as well as lifting or moving more than 100 pounds.
