Description:

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center - EMS Hartford Site PER DIEM

We are now interviewing for our location at Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT. We are looking for dedicated EMTs who embrace our core values to join our team and help us continue providing quality care for our communities.

You will be responsible for performing specific tasks for effective and efficient patient care during intra-facility transfers.

What you would do:

• Interact professionally with patients, families, hospital staff, the public, and other safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service.
• Operate and assist in maintaining company vehicles safely as required.
• Replenish medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Per Diem, 12-hour shifts

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Must maintain Continuing Education as required by local Medical Control Authorities and the state's Department of Consumer & Industry Services.
• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B. Current AHA CPR certification. Valid Driver's License in good standing in CT and eligible for driving privileges.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
