Emergency Medical Technician EMT Full Time

Position Details

• Location: Mount Laurel - 523 Fellowship Road
• Employment Type: Full-time, Employee, Regular
• Work Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hr
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform patient assessment and provide treatment according to protocols.
2. Document patient assessment, treatment, and transfer of care accurately.
3. Operate ambulance safely and responsibly, adhering to driving laws and policies.
4. Conduct vehicle and equipment checks at the start of each shift.
5. Maintain supplies and equipment in a safe and clean manner.
6. Participate in orientation and training of new staff and monitor their performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized EMT-Basic Training Program.
• Certified as an EMT-Basic by the New Jersey Department of Health.
• Current CPR certification (professional rescuer level), PHTLS or ILS, EVOC.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous BLS experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Complete yearly PPD, Fit Test, HIPAA, Safety Day training, and compliance requirements.
