Job summary

Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT seeks an EMT-B to join its EMS team for high-quality pre-hospital and intra-facility patient care. You will collaborate with hospital staff and public safety partners, providing compassionate, professional service in urgent situations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as EMT-B with current AHA CPR certification.
• Valid CT driver's license with driving privileges eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates and maintains company-owned vehicles as required.
• Replenishes medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Saint Mary's Hospital - Waterbury EMS Site

We are looking for dedicated EMT's who embrace our core values to come join our team and assist us in continuing to provide quality care for our local communities.

You would be responsible for performing specific tasks required for the effective and efficient care of patients in a pre-hospital setting and/or intra-facility transfers.

What you would do

• Interacts on a professional level with patients, families, hospital staff, general public and other public safety agencies, providing exemplary care and customer service at all times

• Safely operates and assists in the maintenance of company owned vehicles as required

• Replenishes medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Work Hours/Shift

• Full time, Night Shifts, 7pm - 7pm, wknd/holidays

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Where applicable and as required must maintain Continuing Education per the local Medical Control Authorities and the state’s Department of Consumer & Industry Services.

• Licensed as Emergency Medical Responder, EMT-B. Current AHA CPR certification valid Driver's License in good standing in CT and be eligible for driving privileges based on current company policies and procedures.

• Must be able to think and act calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
