Newberry County Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC seeks an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) on an as-needed basis to provide life support in accordance with their scope of practice and to transport patients to medical facilities.

CERTIFICATION: SC EMT-B and current BLS or obtain within 60 days. Prior EMT experience preferred.

We are seeking a Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) on an as-needed basis to provide life support in accordance with their scope of practice to the critically ill and injured, and transports patient(s) to a medical facility.

Requirements

Education

• SC Certified EMT-B with focus on continued education through in-services, seminars, in-house hospital education, and technical school with focus on improved patient care topics/Paramedic courses.
• Must have current BLS certification or obtain within 60 days of employment.

Experience

Prior EMT experience preferred.
