Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital in Newberry, SC is seeking a full-time Paramedic (24 hours) to join the dedicated EMS team. You will provide Basic and Advanced Life Support and transport patients to receiving facilities.

The role requires SC Paramedic certification and current ACLS, PALS, and BLS credentials, with a preference for candidates who have EMS experience and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Paramedic in South Carolina.

• Minimum 6 months EMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Paramedic provides basic and Advanced Life Support to the critically ill and injured, and transports patient(s) to a medical facility.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months in emergency medical services setting preferred, with focus on continued education through in-services, seminars, in-house hospital education, and technical school with focus on improved patient care topics/Paramedic courses

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Certified Paramedic in South Carolina
• Must have current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
