Job description

Job Summary: Geisinger is now offering NEW starting rates for AEMTs. We also offer a $5000 bonus for those who qualify!

Job Duties

1. Responds to requests in assigned work area.
2. Abides by all Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Laws.
3. All personnel must use seatbelts when vehicle is in motion.
4. Provides Basic Life Support level of patient care.
5. Assists with routine vehicle and equipment surveys conducted at the start of each shift and after each patient transport; participates in maintaining preparedness and in cleaning as required.
6. Participates in the orientation of new hires and provides preceptorships for new personnel, residents, students, and volunteers as assigned.
7. Supports patient safety initiatives and reports errors or adverse events promptly.
8. Follows organizational policies and participates in safety education programs.
9. Performs duties typically in a clinical environment, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
