Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an EMT to perform patient assessment and basic life support during intra-facility transport and 911 assignments. The role requires EMT certification and a high school diploma, with NJ/NY/PA reciprocity considerations.

You will maintain readiness, complete all paperwork, and ensure safety while delivering rapid, age-appropriate EMS care. Excellent teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency; EMT Certification (NREMT/NJ/NY/PA or National Registry).
• Experience: EMT experience preferred; 18+ with valid driver's license.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Hazmat Awareness, ICS-100/200, NIMS/NIMS-700.

Responsibilities

• Responds to dispatched emergency assignments expeditiously.
• Maintains state of readiness to respond within sixty seconds.
• Assesses and provides age-appropriate BLS care.
• Transfers patient with report and completes paperwork.
• Documents patient care records and medication details accurately.
• Adheres to safety and universal precautions in daily duties.
