Job summary

Southeastern Ambulance Service Cambridge is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician-2 to provide primary BLS Life Support care, evaluate and stabilize patients, and monitor vitals during transport. You will work with physicians and nursing staff to relay patient information on arrival or during transport.

Responsibilities include rapid response, patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, equipment maintenance, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Specialized knowledge includes patient assessment, airway management, bleeding control, splint application, knowledge of equipment and protocols, and administration of EMT level medications.

Responsibilities

• 60% - Perform EMT duties including response, patient assessment, vital signs, monitoring, and transport.
• 20% - Maintain ambulances and equipment in proper working order.
• 10% - Daily cleaning and weekly disinfection of ambulances/equipment and station.
• 10% - Report writing and documentation.
