In this role, the Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) will be responsible for supporting the health and well-being of employees by providing first aid, engaging in safety education, and supporting injury prevention programs.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Nights
• Hours: Sun-Wed 7pm-5:30am
• Setting: Occupational Health

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and refer employees to outside medical providers as needed
• Maintain records of care and prepare shift reports
• Support return-to-work programs and workers’ compensation processes
• Participate in safety committee meetings and case management reviews
• Coach employees on safe work habits and ergonomics
• Maintain medical supplies and a clean treatment area
• Assist with emergency response and drug testing protocols
• Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
• Work flexible hours including holidays and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification (State or NREMT) OR 6+ months of recent military medical experience OR Active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or State)
• Must obtain adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 3 weeks of start date if not already held
