• Pay: $50 per hour
• Part-time: 12-hour shifts with varying schedules
• Experience: Prior law enforcement experience required; specialized division experience preferred
• Licensing: Must have a valid Armed New York State Security License

Position Overview

As an EMT supporting our security team, you'll respond to medical emergencies within the Protected Area (PA), Vital Area (VA), and Owner Controlled Area (OCA). Your responsibilities include providing patient care to the extent of EMT Basic certification, assisting fire drills and responses, maintaining medical equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Essential Duties

• Respond to emergencies, providing appropriate patient care
• Complete detailed medical reports
• Maintain EMS response equipment and inventory
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on medical devices
• Assist Fire Brigade during drills and emergencies
• Ensure all medical response equipment is properly maintained and certified
• Provide medical attention during drills and actual emergencies
• Conduct monthly AED testing
• Report safety concerns and irregular conditions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid EMT-B or higher certification
• Valid state driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience
