Pride Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN 46818. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals with a strong background in first aid, emergency medical response, and workplace wellness.

Responsibilities include providing first aid, documenting care, overseeing workers' compensation processes, and coaching associates on safety. The position is a 9-week contract with varied shifts and a pay range of $30-$37 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from the DOH or NREMT.
• Six months military experience as Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
• Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers\' Compensation procedures.
• Skilled in digital record keeping.

Additional Information

• Location: Fort Wayne, IN 46818
• Contract Length: 9 Weeks with possible extension
• Training Schedule: M-F, 7am - 3:30pm
• Shift Schedule: Sun-Wed, 6 PM - 4:30 AM
• Pay Range: $30 - $37/hour
