Pride Health is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (EMT/ Paramedic) to join our team in Dekalb, IL 60115. The role emphasizes first aid, emergency medical response, and workplace wellness with a 40-hour weekly schedule (nights/days) and pay of $30-$40 per hour.

Responsibilities include maintaining medical records, managing workers' compensation, daily logs, and providing coaching on safe work practices. Requires High School Diploma, BLS, EMT/Paramedic certification, and related experience.

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
• Six months' military experience as a Combat Medic or Field Medic.
• Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement with associates.
• Maintain and document all medical records of care provided.
• Oversee workers' compensation program and manage return-to-work processes.
• Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates on the operations floor, coaching on safe work habits.
• Maintain a clean medical environment and stock supplies.
• Participate in First Aid, CPR, and AED training and maintain certifications.
• Assist with drug testing protocols and emergency care delivery.

Additional Information

• Location: Dekalb, IL 60115
• Schedule: 40 hours/week – Nights/Days
• Pay Rate: $30 - $40/hour

(*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support for occupational and non-occupational injuries.

• Maintain a clean medical environment and ensure medical supplies are well-stocked.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One of the following:
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT.
• Six months job experience in the Military as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, or similar.
• Active Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification.

Preferred

• Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with industrial wellness programs, musculoskeletal disorders, and ergonomics.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation procedures.
• Skilled in digital record keeping.
