• Proven ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review floodplain management ordinances and provide technical assistance to communities.
• Outreach to NFIP communities to encourage participation and mitigation project development.
• Review mitigation plans and assist local governments through development.
• Serve as liaison between local officials and State/FEMA officials.
• Participate in the on-call Duty Officer program and coordinate emergency responses.
