Job summary

Essnova Solutions, Inc. seeks Emergency Management Subject Matter Experts at multiple experience levels to support FEMA’s NTED and Training Partners Program. Positions are contingent on contract award and offered part-time assignments across SME categories.

Candidates may qualify for SME Category 1–4 based on education, experience, and independence. Benefits include healthcare options and paid time off. Preference given to those with FEMA, DHS, NTED, or Training Partners Program experience.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide defensible technical recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively with project teams and government officials.
• Experience reviewing progress and recommendations with management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert evaluation and guidance within emergency management.
• Advise teams, customers, and officials on processes and deliverables.
• Contribute strategic vision and operational performance insights.
• Develop and contribute technical or program content.
• Identify relevant best practices and translate terminology for audiences.
• Present recommendations verbally and in writing.
• Support or oversee research, evaluations, and liaison activities.
• Support FEMA training, preparedness, response and recovery initiatives.
