Job summary

Maryland Judiciary is seeking an Emergency Management Security Specialist in Annapolis, MD. Qualifications

• Bachelore2s degree from an accredited college or university in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Public Safety, or closely related field.
• Two years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, continuity of operations planning, or related field.
• Note: Associate degree or 60 credits and two years of experience may substitute for the degree.
• Professional work experience may substitute for up to four years of the required education.

Responsibilities

• Supports emergency management, continuity of operations, and preparedness programs including COOP plans and continuity systems.
• Coordinates planning, design, and evaluation of exercises and training activities.
• Develops training materials, briefings, and reports for leadership.
• Maintains policy guidance to align with laws and best practices in emergency management and security.
• Tracks program metrics and coordinates with stakeholders to improve resilience.
